Job Details Job Location: Lititz, PA 17543 Salary Range: $17.00 - $20.00 Hourly PREP COOK - Fulltime, 10-days per pay, Monday through Friday, 6AM - 2PM, every other weekend/holiday Summary: Assists in the preparation of the delicious dishes created within the community dining room kitchen. All prep cooks should be quick and diligent multitaskers with a willingness to improve and excel on the job. This role works in a fast-paced, busy environment and requires teamwork. Join Our Team at United Zion! Are you an experienced Prep Cook with at least two years' experience in an Institutional Culinary Department for a rewarding opportunity? United Zion is seeking a dedicated Prep Cook to join our culinary team to provide exceptional care for residents. Qualifications 1. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent 2. Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English. 3. Demonstrated knowledge of safe food handling, sanitation-, Serve-Safe-, HAACP standards, and infection control. 4. Understand and assist in the delivery of special diets ordered by the physician. 5.Basic computer skills, customer service, and familiarity with therapeutic diets. 6. The following experience is preferred. • 2 – 3 years’ experience in institutional food production • 2 years’ experience in institutional cooking • 1 year experience in supervising people
