We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

Responsibilities:

At Fresh Prep, every day may be different! While we are currently in “growth mode”, things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:

When you’re working in Prep;

  • You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 6-8 degrees celsius.
  • The main activity in this department is the processing of single various ingredients, for a meal plan, into single portion size packaging.
  • You will be required, based on a timed standard, to clean, cut, portion, measure, weigh and package a variety of vegetables, cheeses, sauces and other various ingredients, into their appropriate packaging.
  • You will be required to breakdown fresh produce using food processing equipment or other provided tools.
  • You will be required to work in a safe manner and to assist in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility.
