Job Details Position Type: Full Time Education Level: High School Travel Percentage: None Job Shift: Day Job Category: Food Manufacturing Role and Responsibilities Employee will be responsible for inspecting, weighing all raw materials for each batch. Assemble/Disassemble equipment needed for ingredient preparation. Set up and calibrate scales. Inspect Ingredients for cleanliness, accuracy, integrity, allergens and ingredient label. Properly weigh and prepare ingredients according to SOP and batch sheets. Label v-mags and barrels with ingredients, weight, batch information. Complete batch sheets with weights and ingredient lot information. Additional responsibilities as instructed by Spice Room Lead, Production Line Lead or Production Supervisor. Adhere to plant GMPs and safety guidelines. Qualifications Skills and requirements HS Diploma or Equivalent. Be able to stand, bend and lift for extended periods of time. Be able to lift 50-60 lbs.; scoop and shovel ingredients. Be able to work in cold or hot, wet environment for 8-10 hour shifts. Basic literacy (English) and math skills (use of calculator). Operate pallet jack training required. Allergen training required. Chemical training required if handling sanitation chemicals. Additional Notes May be required to assist in kitchen and/or grinding room to prepare ingredients as requested.
Responsibilities
The employee will inspect and weigh raw materials for each batch and prepare ingredients according to standard operating procedures. Additional responsibilities include labeling and completing batch sheets with relevant information.
