Every Monday, Wednesday or Thursdays and Fridays 8:30 am to 12:00pm (12 hours weekly at 4 hours shifts.) We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Préposée aux bénéficiaires (Personal Support Worker) to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to individuals in assisted living and nursing home settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for senior care and experience working with individuals with disabilities, ensuring their comfort, dignity, and well-being.

EXPERIENCE

Candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or senior care settings is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with dementia care practices and working with individuals with disabilities is an asset.
• Proven skills in caregiving, including cleaning and meal preparation.
• A compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with residents, families, and team members.

• Maintaining cleanliness in living areas and common spaces to ensure a safe environment.
• Documenting care provided and reporting any changes in residents’ conditions to the healthcare team.
• Assisting with mobility and transfers to ensure safety for residents with physical limitations.
