Description
Oracle is seeking a senior enterprise cloud architect to drive presales solutioning and technical engagement for large enterprise customers on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is an individual contributor role requiring strong technical depth, executive presence, and hands-on engagement across customer leadership, architects, developers, and operations teams. Experience & Qualifications 12+ years of overall IT experience with strong enterprise customer-facing experience (Presales, Solution Architecture, Consulting). Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (experience on AWS/Azure/GCP is acceptable). Proven experience working with large, complex enterprise environments. Deep expertise in Infrastructure, Applications, or Data platforms with clear exposure to AI-enabled architectures and use-cases. Strong executive communication, whiteboarding, and storytelling skills (must-have). Comfortable engaging across levels - from business leaders to architects, developers, and ops teams. Technical Skills OCI IaaS / PaaS, hybrid cloud and migration patterns. Enterprise networking, security, high availability, and DR on OCI. Modern data platforms, analytics, and data-driven architectures. Generative AI and agentic architecture concepts; ability to support discovery, pilots, and production workloads. Cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, and IaC. Enterprise database exposure; Oracle Database / Exadata (Preferred). Exposure to open-source and commercial databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL). General understanding of enterprise SaaS and core business systems preferred. Preferred Cloud certifications (OCI preferred).
