Description

As a Presales Consultant you are the link between customer challenges and technology. You advise both customers and fellow Account Managers on the technical aspects of a proposed solution. You translate the customer’s business issues and their functional and technical questions into innovative and advanced solutions or services from the Orange Cyberdefense portfolio. You can quickly recognize yourself in the customer’s business and come up with best-suited solutions in order to enable the business. Your core task is to advise the customer and translate customer wishes into the right solutions.
With your technical skills and experience you determine the most suitable solution for the customer. You are the link between the products, project management, Security Engineers and the customer. You ensure successful implementations of offered solutions by properly transferring customer-specific agreements and details to project management and security engineers.

  • Solutioning so that all our offers are perceived as innovative, meet and exceed customer expectations and comply with local and global portfolio. Your input for offers, bids and quotations are aligned with our portfolio and that of our partners. Your input always addresses the (business) challenges of our customers.
  • You join sales colleagues in customer meetings and positions yourself as trusted advisor and subject matter expert.
  • You keep your knowledge up to date by amongst others mandatory vendor certifications.
  • You support deal qualification to only go after deals which meet the criteria and where we have a strong chance of winning. You provide the sales teams with information needed to take go/no go decisions in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Your client presentations during the presales phase provide the customer with trust and innovative insights and solutions.
  • You align with our vendors on potential client solutions.
  • You ensure you get and maintain the required vendor certifications.

Experience, skills & requirements required for this role

  • Minimum of an HBO bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the field of Cybersecurity.
  • You have experience with RFI’s and RFP’s.
  • You have technical knowledge within at least 3 of these domains; Network Security, Cloud security, Endpoint security, Security Monitoring, Threat Intelligence, Identity & Access Management, OT security.
  • You keep yourself updated on the latest trends and certifications in cyber security.
  • You have excellent writing and verbal skills in Dutch and English.
  • You are creative, analytical and accurate.
  • You have strong presentations skills.
  • You are comfortable in giving internal and external presentations.
  • You have a hands-on mentality and no 9 – 5 attitude.
