About the Team You’ll join our Presales Consulting team, a group of trusted advisors who partner closely with sales, product, and services to help customers confidently choose the right workforce solutions. This team plays a critical role in shaping customer experiences by combining deep product knowledge with a strong understanding of business challenges across industries. About the Role As a Presales Consultant, you help customers envision how UKG solutions can solve meaningful workforce challenges. You partner with sales to understand customer goals, design thoughtful solutions, and deliver engaging demonstrations that clearly communicate value and outcomes. You are both a strategist and a storyteller—translating complex needs into simple, compelling solution narratives that build trust and momentum throughout the sales process. In this role, you will: Partner with sales to lead discovery conversations that uncover customer challenges, priorities, and success measures Design end to end solution approaches that align UKG products to customer business needs Deliver tailored product demonstrations and presentations that clearly articulate value and differentiation Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Services, and Implementation to ensure solution feasibility and alignment Contribute to deal strategy by identifying risks, assumptions, and next steps that move opportunities forward Support proposal responses and sales-to-services transitions to ensure continuity and clarity for customers About You Basic Qualifications Experience supporting complex sales cycles in a presales, solution consulting, or consultative customer-facing role Experience presenting solutions to a range of audiences, including senior business leaders Strong ability to translate business requirements into clear, practical solution designs Willingness to travel for customer engagements when required (travel may exceed 25%) Preferred Qualifications Experience with workforce management, human resources, payroll, or related enterprise software solutions Experience partnering closely with sales teams in a quota carrying environment Comfort facilitating discovery sessions, workshops, and executive level discussions Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Company Overview: UKG is the Workforce Operating Platform that puts workforce understanding to work.
