Responsibilities

THE ROLE

Soldo is seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to play a pivotal role in driving growth across Italy. This role will support our Account Executives and Customer Success Managers by taking a consultative approach to help mid-market and enterprise customers reimagine their decentralised spend processes—including T&E, operational purchases, and departmental spending. The successful candidate will uncover the hidden costs in a prospect’s existing workflows and demonstrate how Soldo’s spend management platform can transform efficiency and productivity. This individual will also leverage commercial acumen to build compelling business cases that illustrate ROI and accelerate the decision-making process.
The Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant will also bridge the gap to our Professional Services team, gathering and refining integration requirements, helping deliver quick, accurate proposals that address complex needs without compromising on speed. Ultimately, this role will have a direct impact on revenue generation while elevating the client experience from initial engagement through to successful implementation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage prospects and customers alongside our commercial teams to understand their spend processes, uncover inefficiencies, and communicate the business impact of Soldo’s solution. Collaborate with AEs and CSMs to demonstrate how Soldo can both re-engineer processes as well as complement existing workflows managed by their current finance tech stack.
  • Translate functionalities into clear business outcomes, building ROI analyses and cost-benefit cases that resonate with both financial and senior management stakeholders.
  • Support the commercial teams in delivering tailored, high-impact demos that illustrate the capabilities of Soldo’s spend management platform and how it can integrate seamlessly with existing systems across HRIS, ERP, accounting and more. Design and deliver POCs to demonstrate the solution’s feasibility and address in-depth technical questions.
  • Support the sales cycle by contributing to formal proposals, clearly articulating how Soldo’s solution addresses the prospect’s requirements.
  • Gather technical and operational requirements for integrations and custom configurations, collaborating with Professional Services to issue implementation quotes and plan project handover.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Sales, Product, Marketing) to align product capabilities with market needs and ensure consistent messaging. Gather insights from customer engagements and share them with the Product team to inform platform enhancements.
