We are looking for a reliable, responsible, fast paced, proactive and passionate person for the position of Preschool Assistant Director.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with staff, families, and the community.
  • Knowledge of state licensing regulations and best practices in early childhood education.
  • Experience as a teacher in early childhood education is a plus.
  • Previous experience in administration or school
  • Must speak fluent English and Spanish
  • Computer Savvy

Responsibilities
  • Support the Director in managing daily operations and ensuring a high-quality learning environment.
  • Collaborate with events organization
  • Support the recruitment and training of the preschool staff
  • Foster positive relationships with families, address concerns, and facilitate communication between parents and staff.
  • Ensure the preschool operates in compliance with state licensing requirements and health and safety standards.
  • Assist with budgeting, scheduling, and record-keeping tasks, including maintaining accurate child records and staff files.
  • Oversee the maintenance and safety of the preschool environment, ensuring it is clean, organized, and conducive to learning.
