This role is for one of the Weekday's clients Salary range: Rs 420000 - Rs 540000 (ie INR 4.2 - 5.4 LPA) Min Experience: 2 years Location: Hyderabad JobType: full-time We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Preschool Centre Head to lead and manage our preschool in Gachibowli, Hyderabad. This role is ideal for a passionate education professional who combines strong administrative capabilities with a deep understanding of early childhood education. The Centre Head will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the preschool, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while also driving academic excellence and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Lead the overall administration and management of the preschool, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Supervise, mentor, and support teaching and non-teaching staff to maintain high standards of performance and engagement. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, safety norms, and organizational policies. Manage admissions, parent interactions, and community engagement initiatives effectively. Develop and implement strategies to enhance student enrollment and retention. Oversee curriculum delivery and ensure alignment with early childhood education best practices. Maintain accurate records related to attendance, staff performance, finances, and inventory. Handle budgeting, fee collection, and financial planning in coordination with management. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture within the centre. Address parent concerns and feedback with professionalism and empathy. Administrative Skills (Core Focus): Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently. Experience in staff scheduling, resource allocation, and operational planning. Proficiency in handling documentation, reporting, and compliance-related tasks. Ability to manage budgets, track expenses, and optimize operational costs. Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to resolving challenges. Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities to drive the centre’s success. Required Skills & Competencies: Proven experience in a leadership or administrative role within a preschool or educational institution. In-depth understanding of early childhood education frameworks and child development principles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with parents, staff, and stakeholders. Ability to build and maintain a positive learning environment. Strong team management and conflict resolution skills. Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of school management systems and MS Office tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications in preschool or childcare management will be an added advantage.
