We are seeking a passionate and skilled Preschool Cook to join our team. This role is essential in supporting our mission by preparing nutritious meals that contribute to the overall well-being of our students. Benefits & Compensation: - Competitive salary ($16-$18 per hour) - Paid time off - Training & development opportunities Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and cook healthy meals and snacks for preschool children, ensuring adherence to dietary guidelines and nutritional standards. - Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all safety and sanitation regulations. - Collaborate with staff to accommodate dietary restrictions and preferences. - Manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure the kitchen is well-stocked. - Assist in planning menus that promote healthy eating habits among children. - Ensure proper food storage and handling procedures are followed to maintain food safety. - Willing and able to drive the schools van when needed Required Qualifications: - Experience in a cooking or food preparation role, preferably in a childcare or educational setting. - Ability to work a full-time schedule from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. - Reliable transportation to and from work. Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience working in a preschool or similar environment. - A commitment to stability and long-term employment.
