B’nai Israel Community Day School, a well-established, play-based preschool in Gainesville, FL, is seeking a creative, nurturing, and experienced Lead Teacher to join our teaching team in the three-year-old classroom.

We believe learning happens best when children feel safe, seen, and supported, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.

SUMMARY

We are seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to join our team at Congregation B’nai Israel in Gainesville, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, guiding their early development and fostering a love for learning.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum of a CDA or Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education (Bachelor’s preferred)
  • At least 2 years of classroom experience with young children
  • A strong understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate practice
  • Warm, communicative, and flexible teaching style
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
