POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and nurturing Lead Teacher to join our preschool team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to create an engaging and developmentally appropriate classroom environment that supports every child’s social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • New York Teaching Certificates: Birth–2 or Birth– 6
  • Minimum of 2 years of classroom experience as a lead teacher in a preschool setting
  • Strong knowledge of early childhood development and developmentally appropriate practice
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • A warm, respectful, and child-centered teaching style
