REQUIREMENTS

• Diploma or Degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field.(ABRSM certifications in Piano, Music Theory, or similar are advantageous.)
• Proficient in at least two musical instruments (e.g. Piano, Violin, Ukulele, Guitar).
• Familiarity with Solfege (do-re-mi), Suzuki Violin, or Keyboard instruction is a bonus.
• Classroom experience teaching music to preschoolers is essential.
• Confident classroom presence, strong communication, and child engagement skills.
• Warm, creative, and passionate about inspiring musical discovery in young children.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Deliver a comprehensive preschool music curriculum for children aged 18 months to 6 years (PG – K2).
• Teach foundational music skills including singing, percussion, keyboard, recorder, and violin (for older age groups).
• Plan, lead, and reflect on music lessons aligned with the centre’s educational philosophy.
• Track and document children’s musical progress using checklists and anecdotal records.
• Support performances, school events, and year-end concerts.
• Work closely with classroom teachers and parents to build a joyful musical environment.
