POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate, energetic, and reliable Preschool Music Teacher to lead our group music classes for ages 0–5. This part-time opportunity is perfect for students, individuals looking for side work, or anyone who has the desire to share the gift of music! MUST be able to teach from our studio in Stouffville. The ideal candidate has a strong background in early childhood education or music, loves working with young children and parents, and can create a fun, engaging, and safe environment.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with young children (preschool or early childhood setting)
• Strong musical skills (singing required; proficiency on piano, guitar, or ukulele an asset)
• Warm, enthusiastic, and patient personality
• Excellent communication skills with both children and adults
• Ability to commit to a consistent schedule during the school year
• Early Childhood Education certification or music education background is a plus

• Lead weekly group music classes for preschool-aged children (ages 0–5)
• Use singing, movement, rhythm instruments, and creative play to teach basic music concepts
• Foster a positive, welcoming environment for both children and parents/caregivers
• Prepare and execute engaging and educational lessons and activities
• Communicate clearly with parents about class activities and their child’s progress
• Assist with setup and cleanup of the classroom
