Soccajoeys is a kid’s soccer program that is set in a fun and enjoyable recreational setting for children to learn and play the world’s most popular sport, soccer!
Due to increasing popularity, we are currently looking for reliable, motivated, enthusiastic, energetic, outgoing, and committed people to join our NEW Central Coast and surrounds team.
This position would be perfect for a part-time/casual coaching position for Sports Coaches, Child Care Workers, Students or Parents looking for extra income. Having experience in a relevant field like teaching, PE, or Exercise Science would be an advantage. However having a bubbly, energetic, and confident personality; being great at interacting with small children and getting down to their level is essential. Being able to engage in conversations about a T-Rex vs Velociraptor or complimenting everyone on their new shoes and shirts is a must! Saturday morning availability is critical for this role, plus availability for possibly one or two other weekday mornings.

• Be great with kids and enjoy working with children aged from 2.5 - 11 years
• Have a passion for soccer and/or coaching - helping kids
• Be reliable and punctual
• Have your own transport and be willing to travel to Cessnock (locally based Coaches an advantage)
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be friendly, patient, nurturing, energetic and enthusiastic
• Must have or be eligible to obtain a Working With Children’s Certificate and have a registered ABN

Previous childcare and working with children experience will be an advantage, but full in-house training will be provided. Those studying teaching, early childhood studies or health sciences are encouraged to apply.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• First Aid Certificate
• Working with Children / Working with Vulnerable People Check
• Drivers Licence
