OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our educational team at our growing Christian Preschool. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, focusing on their social, emotional, and cognitive development. This position requires a strong commitment to child welfare and the ability to create engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education.

SKILLS

  • Strong understanding of child welfare principles and practices.
  • Experience working with students in a preschool or early childhood setting.
  • Proficiency in behavior management techniques tailored for young children.
  • Familiarity with preschool curriculum standards and teaching methods.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must meet all State of California Licensing requirements.
  • Applicants must be able to manipulate, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Applicants must possess valid and up-to-date Mandated Reporter and Sexual Harassment training certificates. Prospective candidates are encouraged to apply if they believe they can acquire these certifications prior to the date of employment.
  • Willingness to learn new tasks and exhibit a “whatever it takes” attitude.
  • Must be (or become) CPR and First-Aid certified.
  • Must pass a criminal background check, credit check, and FBI check.
  • This is an in-person position in Sunnyvale, CA 94087: must be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (Required).
