We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, committed to encouraging a love of learning, and will create a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children - fostering their social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development principles and the ability to implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of preschool-aged children.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience working in a preschool setting and implementing behavior management strategies to support children’s social-emotional growth is highly desirable.
  • Currently holding a Florida Staff Credential or National CDA/CDAE is preferred.
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices is essential.
  • Familiarity with developmentally-appropriate practices and working with children with who have special needs are preferred.
  • Background in teaching, caregiving, nannying, or babysitting will be beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting effectively with children, parents, and staff members is required.
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
    Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity and creativity.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians.
  • Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support each child’s individual needs, including those with special needs or unique abilities.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education, and in compliance with governing agencies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space conducive to learning.
  • Provide care for infants and toddlers as needed, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
