Job Title: Preschool Teacher
Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a key role in nurturing and educating young children, fostering their social, emotional, and cognitive development in a safe and stimulating environment. Need to have completed DCF 45 hours and CDA or willingness to complete within 90 days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide a nurturing and supportive learning environment for preschool-aged children
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to promote children’s learning and development
- Manage classroom activities and ensure a structured daily schedule
- Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing feedback to parents as needed
- Utilize effective behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure the overall well-being of the children
- Implement early intervention strategies for children with special needs or developmental delays
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom conducive to learning
Skills:
- Proficiency in toddler care and early childhood education principles
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to develop engaging curriculum tailored to the needs of young learners
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of educational best practices and child development theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Prior experience in daycare or preschool settings preferred
