We are seeking a Part-Time Prescriber to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team serving adults with serious and persistent mental illness. This is a unique opportunity to practice high-impact, community-based psychiatry within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team model. About the Role The ACT Prescriber provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and clinical consultation to individuals served by the ACT team. Services are delivered in the community and office settings, emphasizing engagement, recovery, and whole-person care. Responsibilities Conduct psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management Participate in weekly ACT team meetings Collaborate closely with nurses, therapists, case managers, and peer specialists Provide consultation and clinical guidance to team members Support crisis intervention and hospitalization transitions as needed Ensure documentation meets COMAR and BHA standards Requirements Qualifications PMHNP (Board Certified) Active Maryland license and DEA registration Experience with serious mental illness preferred Experience in community behavioral health or ACT model strongly preferred
