Delivery Driver
Duties:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment or manual labor
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering items in a professional and courteous manner
- Communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules or any issues that may arise
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues
Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Confident driving on single track rural roads
- DBS check
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks as required
- Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards
- Excellent time management skills to ensure on-time deliveries
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations is preferred
