Rx4good is seeking a President and eventual successor to the founder/CEO of our globally focused patient advocacy and patient engagement consultancy, founded in 2009. Our core offerings are 1) research and insight development; 2) patient advocacy and patient engagement; 3) communications and mobilization and 4) measuring impact.
This new executive role is positioned as a critical successor to the current founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The initial responsibilities will include driving new business, marketing and client strategy, financial performance and thought leadership initiatives, with the other members of the Management Team. As the identified CEO successor, the President will become deeply involved in strategic initiatives and enterprise-wide decision-making under CEO/COO mentorship. The President will assume increasingly high-impact company-wide leadership responsibilities with visibility across all areas of the business. With strong performance, this role may transition into the role of CEO in a quick timeframe, estimated within a year. This role reports to the CEO/founder. From day one, the President will have ownership of the key strategic initiatives and patient-centric client offerings that advance Rx4good’s mission and values. These responsibilities include:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 20+ years in medical affairs, healthcare, pharma, or corporate healthcare communications; 10+ years in senior leadership driving organizational success.
  • Expertise in patient advocacy or adjacent decision-making authority for patient advocacy campaigns.
  • Proven relationship-builder with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong financial leadership, with experience managing P&Ls, forecasting, and driving profitability; minimum managed revenue of $3M.
  • Deep understanding of the drug development industry, including the R&D lifecycle through commercialization, adept at working with cross-functional stakeholders within pharmaceutical/biotech companies, and strategic integration of patient engagement and advocacy relationships into business goals.
  • Client-facing leadership in healthcare or professional services, with added expertise in areas like clinical development, health policy, digital health, corporate communications, government relations.
  • Entrepreneurial strategist focused on business growth and fostering a culture of client development.
  • Innovation-minded leader who connects teams and rethinks operational approaches.
  • Exceptional writer with proven ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise and actionable messaging.
  • Exhibits confident and exceptional verbal communication skills.
  • Manages conflict and high-pressure situations with professionalism, consistency and composure.
  • Demonstrates proactive, multi-faceted problem-solving and resourcefulness.
  • Expertise in building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experienced coach and team developer, supporting growth across senior and junior levels.
  • Executive-level financial acumen and management skills with proven track record to forecast budgets, meet utilization/billability targets, and drive account, team and/or department profitability, etc. Staff management responsibilities for teams of no less than 10 FTEs, plus consultants.
  • Demonstrates a strategic, nuanced point of view, has the confidence to voice it and ability to determine the most appropriate approach.

    Compensation: $300,000 – $330,000 base plus annual performance-based incentives (target 20%+) and phantom stock.
