Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The President, USA will lead our U.S. operations, taking full ownership of strategic growth, team development, customer engagement, and regional partnerships. This role requires a unique blend of commercial acumen, leadership, and deep empathy for the creative economy.
You will work closely with the company co-founders to localise and amplify our vision, while building a high-performing team and sustainable business unit in the U.S. This is a hands-on leadership role that demands comfort and capability across all stages of growth - from being the first U.S. hire, operating independently and resourcefully, to scaling operations and building a world-class team as we grow. The ideal candidate thrives in both startup scrappiness and strategic scale-up environments.

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL DO DAY TO DAY:

  • Lead the U.S. launch and go-to-market strategy for The Business of Creativity, driving growth across courses, community, consulting, and content.
  • Define and deliver on commercial targets in partnership with the co-founders, with full ownership of U.S. market performance.
  • Drive B2B sales of creative business courses to enterprise clients, building partnerships with marketing teams, L&D leaders, and education providers.
  • Launch and scale a U.S. events program—from curated gatherings to a flagship annual summit—while developing revenue through ticketing and sponsorships.
  • Lead business development for high-touch consulting services, positioning our team as trusted advisors for complex brand and creative challenges.
  • Develop and execute a monetization strategy for U.S. content and commentary, securing brand partnerships and strategic media collaborations.
  • Build and manage a high-performing U.S. team, starting as the first in-market hire and scaling as needed.
  • Establish clear operational processes, KPIs, and reporting structures to ensure scalable growth and excellence.
  • Act as a senior brand ambassador at key industry events and with strategic partners, representing the voice and values of the company.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor offerings and messaging by vertical, ensuring resonance with U.S. audiences and buyers.
