Description Responsible for operating and maintaining CNC press brakes to produce quality parts per print. Determines set up and operating procedures from job tickets. Prepares presses for production, mixing ink, adjusting calibrations and machine setting and reviewing proof documents. Operates presses to produce high quality fabricated sheet metal parts. Maintains work area to assure consistent operations and clean orderly workstations. Performs minor equipment repairs and maintenance to presses. Follow all clean up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and sanitation regulations. Requirements Ability to effectively communicate with other employees of the organization. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to read and understand documents such as work orders and blueprints. Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and other measuring devices. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Positive attitude. Ability to pass forklift operator course and drive.
