OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience with various machining processes. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating press brake machines to bend and shape metal components according to specifications. This role requires attention to detail, quality inspection skills, and the ability to read blueprints effectively.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar manufacturing role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with familiarity in machining processes including welding, fabrication, and assembly.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with CNC programming is a plus; familiarity with CNC lathe operations is desirable.
• Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles.
• Ability to operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection throughout the manufacturing process.

• Set up and operate press brake machines to perform bending operations on sheet metal.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for production.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
• Collaborate with team members in the fabrication process, including assembly and tooling tasks.
• Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance checks and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Utilize hand tools and machinery including CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, and stamping presses as needed.
• Document production processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
