OVERVIEW

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience operating press brake machines. This role is crucial in ensuring the precision and quality of our metal fabrication processes. The Press Brake Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining press brake machinery to produce high-quality components according to specifications.

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience operating press brake machines is essential.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Familiarity with programming press brakes for various bending tasks.
• Proficient in basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Experience with plasma cutting, laser cutting, lathe operations, or CNC machinery is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Set up and operate press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Program the press brake for various bending operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize basic math skills to calculate dimensions, angles, and tolerances for bending operations.
• Inspect finished products using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed for production.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
