Wasea Metal Industries, an Alberta Based company for over 45 years, specializing in a variety of metal fabrications from metal buildings and skids to custom stairs and more. We recently have taken on a new scope of work with a CNC Laser Cutting Table. We are looking to add a talented Press Brake Operator to our dynamic team that has a strong drive to undertake the broad and diverse work that comes our way and be an asset to our team.
We are looking for an optimal candidate to join our team, that has a high personal drive that can work alone as well as in team settings with a good attitude, an exceptional eye for detail and the ability/willingness to learn, as well as be able to handle changes in a face paced environment. As we are located outside of the City of Calgary, having reliable transportation is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Press Brake Operator in a metal fabrication environment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Familiarity with standard measuring tools (tape measure, etc.)
• Physically able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods
• Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working with galvanized steel and similar materials
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Forklift Certification is an asset
