Peopletech Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a high-quality manufacturing business that operates a range of press brakes from 10 to 400 tonnes. Due to growth, they’re now seeking an experienced programmer to join their team on a full-time basis.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proven experience in press brake programming, not just operation.
• Ability to read and interpret 3D CAD drawings and technical schematics.
• Experience with a range of press brake equipment and tooling.
• Strong understanding of materials, tolerances, and bend allowances.
• Willingness to work the 2pm–10pm shift following an initial training period on days.

• Program and set up press brake machines for efficient and accurate production.
• Work with a range of presses from 10 to 400 tonnes.
• Interpret 3D CAD drawings to create accurate bend sequences and tooling setups.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure components meet specifications.
• Assist with machine maintenance and uphold safe working practices.
• Support operators with technical guidance and setup instructions as needed.
