A rare opportunity has now arisen within this organisation for a Press Brake Setter Operator to join them. In your new role as a Press Brake Setter Operator, you will take ownership of producing both small and large batches of fine limit detailed sheet metal components using CNC and manual Press Brakes. The key responsibilities are as follows:

• Manufacturing precision detailed sheet metal components including the set up and use of Amada HFE, EG4010 and HFB CNC Press Brakes
• Using precision equipment such as Vernier Callipers, Protractors and Vernier Height Gauge.
• Using and maintaining equipment, such as Fly-Press, Guillotines and Drilling Machines.
• Responsibility for ensuring that a high standard of housekeeping is maintained.
• Supporting team members with other tasks, as and when necessary.
• Responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety Policies are adhered to.
• Carrying out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant within any manufacturing area which includes Assembly, Machine Shop and Fabrication.

My client is keen to find someone with a strong precision sheet metal work background and experience of setting and operating both CNC and manual Press Brakes. You will also have the ability to read 3rd angle projection engineering drawings and be comfortable working both independently and within a team environment.
In return, my client is offering an excellent hourly rate of £16.85 per hour, dependent on experience. An excellent benefits package is also on offer which includes a 6% pension (increasing to 7%), Health Care Cash Plan, Life Assurance and company sick pay scheme. The working hours for this role are Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and 8am-1pm on a Friday.
