SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our team at Greenfield Engineering. In this role, you will be responsible for operating press brake machinery to fabricate high-quality sheet metal components. Your expertise will contribute significantly to our reputation for precision and excellence in manufacturing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or similar role in sheet metal fabrication.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and machinery.
  • Basic math skills for measuring and calculating specifications accurately.
  • Salvagnini panel bending experience would be desirable.
  • Ability to read technical documents, such as blueprints or manuals.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate Amada press brake machines to bend and shape sheet metal according to specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine job requirements.
  • Ensure the quality of finished products through regular inspections and adjustments.
  • Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and efficiency.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
