Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor and the V.P. of Production, they will complete all work orders assigned to them according to the specific work order instructions. They will also a play key role in training, evaluating, and organizing the brake press department staff.  Essential Duties:  1. Complete all work orders assigned to that area 2. Check that all paperwork on each job order has the matching revision level 3. Check all parts to print 4. Ensures all parts are properly labeled and moved to the next area when completed 5. Informs the Shift Supervisor and the V.P. of Production about any irregularities on work orders 6. Maintain their area regarding organization and cleanliness 7. Follow all safety procedures and policies without exception 8. Works with the V.P. of Production to improve and maintain safety systems and procedures 9. Troubleshoot and assist in the repair of equipment as requested 10. Maintain the highest level of quality in all parts that are produced 11. Works with the Quality Auditors, Quality Manager, and others to ensure quality parts are always produced 12. Meet all Key Performance Indicators 13. Works with HR and department lead to train new staff 14. Assists in the evaluation by providing regular feedback of new and current staff   Minimum Qualifications:  * Experience with the setup and operation of CNC brake press preferred   1st Shift- Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts - 4:45 AM until 3:15 PM
Responsibilities
The Press Brake Technician is responsible for the setup, maintenance, and operation of brake press machines, ensuring all work orders are completed accurately. They also play a key role in training and evaluating staff within the brake press department.
