Job Details Job Location: Headquarters - Hagerstown, MD 21740 Salary Range: $20.00 - $22.00 Hourly Job Shift: 2nd Shift Start a printing machine or manually control equipment, load unprinted materials into the press, review work orders to determine equipment needed, clean and maintain printing machine, remove printed materials and transport to designated areas. Qualifications Qualifications: Must have HS Diploma/GED, must be mechanically inclined, must be detail oriented and can manage multiple projects, able to read and follow oral or written instructions, able to solve basic production problems, work under pressure, maintain deadlines, have basic computer and math skills, and have the ability to solve problems and stay organized. Physical Demands: sight requirements (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception), required to walk, talk and hear, stand/walk for extended periods of time, regularly lift or move up to 40 pounds (and occasionally up to 100 pounds with mechanical assistance). Work Environment: The work environment is that of a manufacturing facility. Conditions change as the outdoor climate changes. There are moderate exposures to hear and cold, as well as exposure to moderate noise levels, moving equipment, and other general manufacturing hazards.
Responsibilities
The Press Operator is responsible for starting a printing machine, loading materials, and cleaning and maintaining the equipment. They also review work orders and transport printed materials to designated areas.
