PRESS OPERATOR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in flexographic printing required.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with computerized, gearless CI flexographic presses (not manual presses).
  • Experience working with 8-colour printing, polyethylene, and solvent-based inks required.
  • Previous experience with Allstein FNK Flexographic presses is an asset.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and comply with company policies.

    Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Safely set up, operate, and monitor press machinery and equipment to meet production requirements.
  • Complete press machine setup for production runs, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and calibrating equipment.
  • Monitor production processes, inspect output, and test materials to ensure products meet quality standards and quotas.
  • Verify and track all materials for inventory and work-in-progress requirements.
  • Troubleshoot press equipment issues and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Train and provide guidance to machine assistants and new team members.
  • Maintain housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness around machinery and work areas.
  • Follow all safety policies, use required PPE, and report hazards or concerns immediately.
