Description Schedule Training on day shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., for first 4 - 6 weeks. Then afternoon shift: 3:15 p.m. - 11:45 p.m. MULTI-LAYER OPERATOR SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS Actively involved in all duties for procedures related to produce multilayer printed circuit boards. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare inner layer material for lamination. Lay-up panels, transfer packages into the hot press. Transfer packages to cool down press. Keep oxide line at minimum chemical level ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS Reports to department supervisor and Director of Operations. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS A high school diploma is required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Standing for long periods of time is required. Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines. WORK ENVIRONMENT This position is in a manufacturing setting with exposure to noise, dirt and chemicals.
Responsibilities
The Press Operator is responsible for preparing inner layer materials for lamination and managing the transfer of packages through the hot and cool down presses. They also maintain chemical levels in the oxide line.
