The Press Operator is responsible for setting up and operating the press machine used to form steel plate.

Essential Functions:

• Set-up of custom forming dies and assists in die fabrication.
• Lead the team on the best methods to produce parts safely and efficiently.
• Perform QC inspections and assure quality of all parts produced.
• Document best practices on all custom parts.
• Assist in estimating time required to press custom parts.
• Mentor press operator helper.
• Comply with all established safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in dishing tank heads and other custom pieces.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic die design.
• Fabrication and welding skills are preferred.
