Description Position Summary: A Silicone Press Operator utilizes injection molding presses to mold silicone parts to fulfill daily production requirements in accordance with the production schedule and as instructed by the Production Supervisor. Key Job Responsibilities: Run injection molding pumping station and multiple injection molding presses. Monitor product quality to ensure injection molded parts are made to specification. Collects and report manufacturing performance data. Reviews and completes work orders (paper-based and electronic). Maintains a clean working environment through regular cleaning of the cleanroom and equipment, along with 5S. Follows all cleanroom gowning procedures. Ability to read, understand and follow work instructions. Ability to read controlled drawings to manufacture quality products. Ability to understand tolerances and use basic measuring equipment (tape measure, calipers, etc.) Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements Education, Skills and Experience Requirements: 1. High school diploma or GED. Technical school credit is a plus. 2. Basic computer skills. 3. Must have a very high level of attention to detail. 4. Ability to communicate effectively with management as well as other team members. 5. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. 6. Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible environment. 7. Self-motivated, does not need constant supervision. 8. Experience with injection molding machines preferred but not required. 9. 3 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required
