We're currently seeking a passionate and skilled Press Set Up Operator to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality, engineered solutions to our customers worldwide. In this role you will be responsible for safely operate machines, to produce parts conforming to specifications. Requirements Perform blanking, piercing, forming and drawing operations on a variety of parts. Change material on smaller machines Inspect work pieces for conformance to specifications, using micrometer or other measuring instruments to verify workmanship standard. Perform in process inspection, follow control plan and record results. Communicates when there is an issue on the machine Document all required production data and prepare product for next step Other duties as assigned Qualifications Basic knowledge of controls Ability to read blueprint and production procedures/instructions. Mechanical aptitude; must be responsible in the proper use of equipment in a safe manner Must be dependable, reliable and able to work well on a team 2+ years of manufacturing experience Ability to work overtime as needed Ability to stand for up to 8 hours/day This position is at our Elk Grove Village, IL location.
