On behalf of our client, Grand River Personnel is looking for an experienced Press Set-up Operator in WATERLOO.

Pay Rate: $20.17/hr + 4% vacation pay added to each cheque weekly!
Shift: Days Monday to Thursday: 7am-4:30, Friday: 7am-11am

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with the above noted responsibilities
• Ability to utilize and interpret inspection gauges and equipment
• Must be able to read blueprints
• Experience with Word, Excel and powerpoint
• Overhead crane experience
• Ability to follow priorities, achieve goals and coordinate activities.
• Strong attendance record and attention to detail are a must
• CSA Approved Footwear
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Reliable, punctual and dependable

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Set-up and safe operations of press machinery in a timely and safe manner
• Setting up machinery for production orders
• Strong focus on productivity, quality checks, workmanship standards
• Address problems and find solutions to improve efficiencies
• Producing first off/last off parts for Quality Control Approval
• Perform other duties as assigned
