Job Details Job Location: Corporate Headquarters - New York, NY Salary Range: $22.00 - $24.00 Hourly Description ABOUT THE ROLE The press department oversees all communications pertaining to Comme des Garçons USA and Dover Street Market USA (New York, Los Angeles). Integration and exposure within both companies is extremely high. The department works hand-in-hand with the store management and VIP teams within our retail spaces to create a seamless experience for our clients, VIPs and friends of the house. This is an excellent role for someone who values critical/independent thinking and embraces the company’s unique approach to brand marketing and retail. WHAT YOU’LL DO Manage press samples, loans, and shipments. Coordinate editorial shoots with media partners and maintain strong relationships. Prepare and submit written communications for approval, such as press releases, media pitches, and event recaps. Oversee and manage CDGNY and CDG Brazil social media accounts, ensuring brand consistency and engagement. Organize and track various projects, including Instagram proposals, event logistics, and administrative tasks. Build and maintain strong relationships with VIP clients and press teams to foster brand loyalty and increase visibility. Collaborate effectively with international teams to ensure global brand consistency and understanding of market dynamics. Assist with the planning, execution, and reporting of various events, including fashion shows, product launches, and VIP receptions. Demonstrate a deep understanding of the CDG brand, its values, and its target audience. WHO YOU ARE A highly motivated and responsible individual with strong interpersonal skills. Energetic, collaborative, and detail-oriented with a passion for fashion and luxury brands. Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively convey brand messages. Organized and efficient with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Proficient in social media platforms and content creation. Experienced in event planning or coordination, with a strong ability to execute events seamlessly. A team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change. A continuous learner who is eager to stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications
