As a Pressman, you will play a crucial role in operating and maintaining our printing presses to produce high-quality printed materials for our clients. Operate various types of printing presses, including offset and digital machines Set up and adjust printing equipment for different job specifications Monitor print quality throughout production runs and make necessary adjustments Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on printing equipment Manage color accuracy and consistency across print jobs Collaborate with prepress and postpress teams to ensure smooth workflow Maintain a clean and organized work environment Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards Complete required documentation for each print job Stay updated on new printing technologies and techniques Qualifications Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Pressman in a printing press environment Proficiency in operating various types of printing presses, including offset and digital machines Strong knowledge of printing techniques, color management, and print production workflows Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on printing equipment Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Good communication and teamwork skills High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in printing technology preferred Familiarity with printing industry standards and best practices Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as required Additional Information Directly opposite to The Dubai Mall, the iconic Burj Khalifa, 10 minute walk to the Dubai Metro Station and within a few minutes’ drive to DIFC, World Trade Centre and just 15 minutes’ drive from Dubai International Airport, Swissotel Al Murooj is located in downtown Dubai, one of the city’s favoured destinations for business or leisure.
