We are currently seeking a skilled Pressure Vessels Fitter to join our dynamic team in the Oil & Energy sector. This role is pivotal in assembling and fitting pressure vessels to ensure they meet industry standards and project specifications, contributing to our mission of delivering high-quality products. Responsibilities Assemble and fit pressure vessels according to engineering specifications and industry standards. Inspect and verify the dimensional accuracy and integrity of materials and structures before assembly. Collaborate with welding and engineering teams to ensure proper installation and functionality of pressure vessels. Utilize appropriate tools and techniques for fitting, ensuring precise alignment and secure connections. Conduct quality checks during and after fitting processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols and practices. Participate in the troubleshooting and resolution of fitting-related issues as they arise. Proven experience as a fitter in pressure vessel fabrication or a related field. Technical diploma or vocational training in mechanical fitting or a similar discipline. Strong understanding of pressure vessel standards, codes, and safety regulations (e.g., ASME). Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications accurately. Proficiency in using fitting tools and equipment safely and effectively. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
