We are seeking a positive individual to join our truck washing team to assist with washing commercial tractors/trailers from Monday to Sunday afternoon and evenings. This is a full-time position
The job will consist of;
Leading a team of 1 - 2 people
Coaching and correcting team members
Holding team members accountable
Setting goals for team members
Planning routes and arranging workload
Diagnosing issues with equipment, tools, or general issues that may be encountered on a regular work day
Following safety procedures to ensure a safe work environment for our team members, and our clients.
Operating a commercial vehicle over 11000KG (DZ box truck)
Operating a pressure washer to wash trucks and trailers
Scrubbing trucks and trailers as needed
Re-Stocking and mixing chemicals
General labor and other tasks
The ideal candidate would be;
Safety conscious
Punctual
Friendly/positive
Good team player
Able to lift 50lbs
Able to work a physically demanding job for long periods of time
Able to use a ladder or rolling stair platform
Mechanically inclined is a great asset
Comfortable working in outdoor environments with low light conditions.
Leadership or management experience is an asset
2 years of Pressure washing or truck washing experience is preferred
Must have own transportation and valid DZ license with a clean driver’s abstract for a minimum of 5 years, this must be able to be verified through previous employers with a letter of reference.
Must be over the age of 25
Clean uniforms provided daily
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
