Position: Prevention Education Specialist Location: Tioga County, PA Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Occasional evenings/Saturdays for community events Grant-funded position UPMC Partnership is seeking a passionate and motivated Prevention Education Specialist to join our team and make a lasting difference in the lives of youth across Tioga County. If you're enthusiastic about education, community outreach, and helping young people make healthy choices, this could be the perfect opportunity for you! 💡 What You’ll Do: Deliver evidence-based drug and alcohol prevention education in local schools. Collaborate with school teams through the Student Assistance Program (SAP) to support at-risk students. Represent UPMC at community events, sharing resources and building awareness. Participate in the Communities That Care workgroup to strengthen local prevention efforts. Build relationships with school administrators and become certified in selected curricula. Ensure quality and safety in all aspects of your work, and contribute to a culture of excellence. 🎯 What We’re Looking For: We’re less focused on years of experience and more interested in finding someone who is: Excited to work with youth and make a positive impact. Organized, flexible, and a team player. Comfortable speaking in front of groups and adapting to different classroom environments. Education: Bachelor’s degree required (fields like Education, Social Work, Psychology, or similar are great—but we’re flexible if you have relevant experience). Experience: Prior teaching or youth engagement experience is a plus.
