Description We’re seeking a dependable Preventative Maintenance Technician who is willing to learn, willing to try, and takes pride in doing things the right way. This role is critical to maintaining quality standards through detailed inspections, preventative maintenance, and clear communication. Key Responsibilities Complete scheduled preventative maintenance tasks efficiently and consistently Conduct thorough vacant unit walks with a strong attention to detail Identify, document, and clearly communicate maintenance issues and safety concerns Ensure units are clean, orderly, and meet company standards prior to occupancy Inspect plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, doors, windows, and hardware Replace filters, test smoke detectors, and verify proper operation of all systems Work efficiently without cutting corners Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding findings and priorities Benefits: - Mileage reimbursement - Uniform provided - Cell phone reimbursement - Medical, Dental and Vision insurance - 401k after a year - Paid vacation, personal & holidays after 60 days - All maintenance must be conducted within a safe environment and adhere to all OSHA standards. Requirements Maintenance or inspection experience preferred, but willingness to learn and try is required High attention to detail with a preventative mindset Strong cleanliness and organization standards Ability to work efficiently and manage time well Strong verbal and written communication skills Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Providing your own tools and reliable transportation. (Ardent Property Management will provide all specialty tools. All hand tools are to be provided by the maintenance technician.)
