This role will maintain building operations and ensure that the facilities are always safe and functional. This person will conduct preventative, routine maintenance, and emergency repairs. The successful candidate will be a motivated individual who has strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and accountability. Perform preventative maintenance, routine repairs/services, and special projects. Identify any mechanical fault that may lead to a major breakdown of machines. Conduct and/or coordinate with 3rd parties for facility upkeep, including but not limited to facility infrastructure (plumbing, lighting, compressed air, heating/cooling, electrical) building and office security/repairs, surrounding grounds, equipment guarding/safety hazard improvements. Receive, inventory, and track usage of machine parts/components and tools. Assist with equipment breakdowns and work order documentation. Inspect for potential wear and tear on equipment parts, such as shaft alignment and belts. All other duties as assigned by the manager. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Degree or Certification in the Mechanical, Electrical, and/or HVAC technician preferred. At least 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair. Experience with automated manufacturing equipment preferred. Able to work extended hours to meet business needs. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Strong organizational and time management skills. The ability to work with teams, and good communication skills, both oral and written.
