REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Human Services related field, experience in the provision of prevention related programs. ? Applicants who do not possess the required education may substitute additional experience as indicated on a year-for-year basis with thirty (30) semester hour credits being equal to one (1) year of experience.
  • Minimum three years’ experience working in non-profit, social service environments in development or implementation of community-based services, prevention programs, or any other human service programs.
  • Experience in implementing evidence-based practice models and other materials related to training, coaching according to policies and procedures.
  • Valid New Jersey driver’s license, safe driving record.
  • Vehicle with current insurance and valid registration.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with consultants, school districts, and community service providers to facilitate training sessions, workshops, webinars, and assemblies.
  • Assist with programmatic data collection, reporting, quality improvement, and service evaluation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Canva, and Google Workspace.
  • Conduct school outreach and meet with officials to collaborate on NJ4S initiatives through email, phone, and in-person meetings.
  • Plan and coordinate outreach and community events.
  • Create presentations based on evidence-based practice models.
  • Utilize Connex (online database) for data management and reporting.
  • Fulfill a 21-hour weekly direct service in the community Department of Children and Families requirement.
  • Participate in a hybrid work schedule,
  • Work rotating evening and weekend schedules.
  • Maintain a 35-hour workweek, with a flex day when assigned a weekend event.
  • Travel using a personal vehicle to provide services across Somerset, Hunterdon, and Warren counties.
  • Receive mileage reimbursement for event-related travel.
  • Perform physical tasks, including setting up and cleaning at events.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
