Prevention Presenter This role performs as a major mental health and ATOD prevention educator within the catchment area. Travel will be required within this area. This position is located in Dale County, Alabama Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:30pm; Friday 8am - 12pm   Responsibilities: * Conducting research on applicable topics * Serve as an operational liaison between the Center and the community  * Some travel is required within the catchment area * Developing and presenting programs to update the targeted population *   Requirements: * BS degree in a human services related field and 1 year experience in substance abuse including the following: * 2,000 hours in substance abuse prevention * 100 hours of prevention education training including 4 hours of Prevention specific HIV/Aids education, 6 hours of prevention specific ethics and 4 hours of Managing a Disruptive Audience Behavior and a minimum of 120 hours of supervised practical experience with at least 10 of the following: * Individual/Peer * Family * Community * School * Must have a signed code of ethics form with evaluations from supervisors or colleagues OR * The Prevention Director provides general supervision of the person with a minimum of 2 hours direct supervision each month Benefits: Blue Cross Blue Shield of Alabama Health and Dental Insurance 10 Company Paid Holidays Paid Time Off- Sick, annual, and personal leave Company paid life insurance AD&D and dependent life insurance Troy University Student Discounts Alabama State Retirement PTO Buyback OnShift Wallet via Payactiv
