Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. is looking for a skilled Preventive Maintenance Account Manager who can focus on Fire System Sales to help us expand our new Lethbridge, AB location in this hybrid-remote role! In this role, you will sell new preventive maintenance agreements on all company products and services, maintain a repetitive substantial renewal rate with existing customers, and establish relationships with purchasing influences while promoting the company’s services and products. They will also be responsible for maintaining and securing orders for the branch. They will provide pricing for services and products as they relate to Fire Alarm Systems and Products for assigned accounts with technical accuracy.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Fire, Security, or Nurse call Product Sales, or Sales Training
  • Field experience in fire alarm systems and/or experience in sales of fire alarm systems is preferrence
  • CFAA is considered an asset
  • The ideal candidate will have demonstrated promotional skills
  • Must be willing to travel for customer calls
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of Fire and Life Safety products/services would be an asset but willing to train
  • Ability to work independently
  • Computer skills - Microsoft Office Suite
  • Self-starter with evidence of prospecting experience or customer cold calling
  • Must possess a valid driver’s licenseand clean driving record

Responsibilities
  • Sell new preventive maintenance agreements on all company products and services.
  • Maintain a repetitive substantial renewal rate with existing customers.

  • Ensure pricing accuracy of quotations.
  • Develop a sales coverage plan for the Lethbridge area.
  • Investigate and document competitive activity and trends.
  • Develop knowledge of product, codes and standards.
  • Adherence to monthly performance budgets.
  • Establish contacts with contractors, engineers and suppliers to promote Edwards fire and signaling specifications, and sale of our products and services.
  • Provide product and quotation support to sales representatives and customer service.
  • Assist with quotations and provide support to existing sales personnel.
  • We are looking for a “self-starter” who is comfortable both with cold-calling prospective clients and with working with our existing sales team members
  • Evaluate new product opportunities by introducing them into the marketplace.
