Wright Manufacturing, a leader in the design and building of commercial lawn equipment, has a great opportunity to be part of our Production Engineering Team in the role of Preventive Maintenance and Facilities Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for assisting in the upkeep, inspection, and repair of facility systems, equipment, and infrastructure; focusing on performing routine preventative maintenance, supporting facility operations, and ensuring equipment and building systems remain safe, reliable, and operational. Primary responsibilities include: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on facility equipment and systems, reporting equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors. Lubricate, clean, adjust, and replace basic components to maintain equipment functionality. Maintain preventative maintenance logs and service records. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within preventative maintenance activities by analyzing equipment performance and recommending changes that improve reliability, reduce downtime, and extend equipment life. Perform general building maintenance including minor repairs to walls, doors, lighting, flooring, and fixtures, replace light bulbs, filters, belts, and other consumable components. Assist with troubleshooting facility equipment and utilities. Support facility improvement projects and equipment installations. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Exposure to mechanical systems, electrical systems, or building maintenance. Basic mechanical aptitude. Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools. Ability to follow maintenance procedures and instructions. Ability to troubleshoot simple equipment issues. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to maintain maintenance records and checklists. Preferred Qualifications Technical school or vocational training in maintenance, mechanical systems, or related field preferred. Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems. Forklift or lift equipment experience. Previous maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
