JOB SUMMARY – PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST

We’re looking for someone who is organized, good with tools, and likes to solve problems. This person will help keep our machines running smoothly in a busy shop where we build things with high-tech equipment. You’ll check and fix machines on a regular schedule so they don’t break down. You’ll also help make sure everything is safe and runs on time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• Must have a high school diploma or something equal.
• It helps if you’ve studied industrial maintenance or have a certificate.
• It’s a bonus if you’ve worked in a factory or machine shop before.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE

• Know how to work with machines like lathes, mills, and presses.
• Be able to read machine manuals and technical drawings.
• Be organized and good at writing notes and reports.
• Knowing how to use computer systems that track maintenance is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Be okay standing for a long time and working in different temperatures.
• You’ll be around machines, grease, and noise, so you should be comfortable in that kind of place.
